From Our Website

When you arrive in our office, one of our front desk staff will check you in. If you're a new patient, we'll have some paperwork ready for you to fill out (or you can find it here beforehand). If you use glasses or contacts, please bring them with you. Please bring a copy of your insurance card. We will always try to verify your benefits before you come in, so an updated card helps us file insurance on your behalf. We're happy answer any questions you have about your coverage-just ask! Once you're checked in, you can sit back and relax in our sun-filled lobby or feel free to browse frames in the optical shop.

Our main purpose is to help you see life better. Starting around age three, doctors recommend everyone have a routine vision exam once per year. This exam isn't just to check your prescription; it also provides a crucial look at the health of your eye. Refraction - The doctor will measure your visual acuity (how well you see) and determine whether you need glasses or if there has been any change in your current glasses prescription. Contact lens exam (if applicable) - The doctor will examine the fit of your contact lenses and determine your contact lens prescription, which is different from your glasses prescription since contacts sit directly on the surface of your eyes.

Dr. Stiegemeier is a graduate of The Ohio State University College of Optometry. He relocated to North Carolina shortly thereafter with his wife, Lori, a North Carolina native, and his two children, Madeline and Miles. After many experiences with ophthalmologists and optometrists he has taken a keen interest in specialty contact lens design and evaluation. He provides comprehensive eye care in conjunction with management of other ocular diseases such as diabetic retinopathy and glaucoma. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Stiegemeier enjoys four wheeling, swimming, spending time with his family, and cooking.
