From Our Website

We understand that your first visit to the eye doctor can feel overwhelming and we try to accommodate all new patients with a comfortable and organized facility. Our goal is to cover everything you need with a full and efficient assessment, but without waiting to see the doctor. For years, more and more people have been switching to contact lenses. Contact lens technology has evolved rapidly and with today's variety of contact lenses, there are lenses for just about everyone. Switching from eyeglasses to contact lenses begins with an eye exam for contact lenses.

We have been serving the eye care needs of our communities since 1991. We offer convenient hours and are open 7 days a week to meet your eye care requirements. We are proud sponsors and participants of OneSight, a non-profit family of charitable vision care programs dedicated to improving vision through outreach, research, and education.

Here at Fox Eye Care Group, we are dedicated to caring for patients who have macular degeneration. Macular Degeneration is the loss of central vision due to damage to the retina. The macula is a part of the retina located on the back layer of the eye that affects the center of the visual field. Macular degeneration is often related to age and can be atrophic (dry) or exudative (wet). The dry form of macular degeneration is most common, and there is no medical or surgical treatment. It occurs when debris, which can cause scarring, collects between the retina and the choroid.

With so much going on in your child's life it can be difficult to keep up, but it's important to make sure they can see the world in front of them as clearly as possible. Children should have their first eye exam around the age of six months. If the first exam shows their eyes are healthy, follow up with another appointment between the ages of 2 and 3 years. Although many schools offer annual eye exams, they are not complete visual exams and the results can be inaccurate. If you notice your child is having trouble with their vision, schedule an appointment with Fox Eye Care Group so the doctor can address the issue and get them back on track.

LASIK stands for laser in-situ keratomileusis and is a popular surgery to correct vision problems. LASIK can help people who are nearsighted or farsighted as well those who have astigmatism. LASIK works by reshaping the cornea with a laser, which allows light to be focused onto the retina. A laser is used to create a small flap is in the cornea, which is peeled back so another laser can reshape the cornea. The flap is then returned to its original position, and the surgery is complete. Every surgery has risks, so it is important to discuss the surgery, side effects, and recovery with your eye doctor so you can make an informed decision about whether or not the procedure is right for you.
