From Our Website

Preston Optometry Center is very fortunate to be able to give back to those less fortunate than us, having been part of many organizations and missions both locally and worldwide. Dr. Rousselo has partnered with local shelters and transitional programs to provide eye exams and glasses at no charge for those in need. We are very proud to say that we are able to help out local schools, shelters, and civic groups, as well the many people on our mission trip to Kenya, Africa. To date, we have helped more than 2,300 people get eye exams, glasses and contacts, and will continue that tradition into the future.

Lora has been licensed by the North Carolina State Board of Opticians. In addition she holds degrees in Mechanical Engineering Technology and Opticianry. Lora enjoys using her experience and talents in helping patients meet their optical needs and fashion preferences in selecting the perfect frame and lenses while giving them the best optical performance. Outside of the office Lora's favorite pastimes are gardening, reading, and spending time with her husband, four children and grandchildren. Our office is conveniently located off SW Cary Parkway in the Parkway Place Offices.

Vision Care includes a comprehensive vision and eye health examination. This examination is designed to detect a wide range of problems affecting vision function, such as blurred vision or eye discomfort. Evaluations for eye health disorders are also performed. The American Optometric Association recommends that all people should have a periodic, comprehensive eye examination every one to two years depending on one's particular needs. When we do eye exams, we refuse to cut corners. We always schedule ample time so you will never feel rushed.
