Metro Vision accepts most vision care insurance plans. Metro Vision accepts uninsured and low-income patients. Fees for services are located on the personal's income, and fees are adjusted on a sliding scale.

Established in Detroit, Michigan in 1975 by George P. Barnes, Jr., Heritage Optical is known for excellent vision care service. Heritage Optical has the distinction of being Michigan's 1st African-American owned complete service optometric dispensary and is the only such company to hold a State of Michigan Alternative Financing Delivery System Certificate of Authority.
