Dr. Boshnick received his B.A. degree from the University of Miami in 1964 and his doctorate in Optometry from Southern College of Optometry in 1968. He then went on to serve as a Captain in the U.S. Army Medical Service Corps from 1968 to 1970 where he was made chief of the Optometry clinic at the Hunter Army Airfield Hospital.
